After training this morning I headed to Whole Foods (which I have to admit makes me happy every time...it's like food Disneyland) to grab some lazy breakfast #2.
They have lots of healthy & ready to go choices like eggs, vegetables, etc......and bacon.
I bought this piece in a moment of weakness.....
Then I got home and thought....*well hello tasty bacon - you sure do look greasy....I wonder how many calories you have?* Google and I spent some time sorting it out and from what I can estimate based on size, my piece of bacon had somewhere between 60 and 80 calories. I went back to my heart rate monitor to check out approx how many calories I had burned in my workout and after reading 575ish, the debate ensued....am I actually about to sacrifice 15% of my workout on ONE piece of bacon? Was that entire last set worth a 20 second bacon consumption?
After all the debating and google-ing, the bacon was cold and gross (and therefore a non issue), but I don't think I would have eaten it anyways. Eggs and Veg for me!
