I have spent 30 years in a body that I'm completely irresponsible with... I live the all too common story of do too much, sleep too little, and live on processed food and caffeine. I spend a lot of time complaining and no time making changes...it's time to turn the crazy train around and start taking care of my only body! This is my story as I am supported by Port Moody's Innovative Fitness and Impulse Sport Therapeutics to quit the excuses and get this body under control.

Food for Thought
My nutritionist Samantha Cairns uses "Food for Thought" and I think it is a totally appropriate line to steal to pass on the info I learn from her! I will be starting with Sam next week and in the meantime my first steps are...eat things that grew rather than came in a box, drink actual water, and cook at home. I have to admit that these things did come from me not Sam, but it will have to do for now. She DID teach me that cardboard has more nutritional value than Cheerios so I suppose I'll stay away from that particular cereal...not sure if that means I should be munching on cardboard - I'm going to assume no unless she specifies otherwise :)
